The Latest CBSE Assessment and Evaluation Practices for Examination With the new policy “National Education Policy (NEP) 2020” in place, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised its assessment and evaluation practises for students in Class IX, X, XI and XII for the academic year 2023-24.
In order to gradually align assessment with the NEP's vision, the board will integrate more competency-based questions in the Class X and XII Board examination.
As a result, the Question Paper for the upcoming session will include more Competency-Based Questions or questions that gauge how well concepts are applied in practical settings.
The following modifications will apply to the year-end board exams for classes IX to XII in 2023–24:
